Access to FGWM website
Each time you access the website of the Special Interest Group on Knowledge Management of the German Society for Computer Science (GI)
this action is stored in a log file with the following data:

* Name of the file accessed
* Date and time of file access
* Amount of data transmitted
* Report stating whether access attempt was successful

These data are solely analysed to optimise the website service. They are not circulated to third parties for commercial or non-commercial purposes.

E-mailing, orders and other contacts
Any e-mails which you send to the FGWM and your e-mail address shall be used for the sole purpose of corresponding with you. The personal data
which you enter when making orders shall be used for the sole purpose of processing the order, which includes the circulation of said data to
distributors commissioned by the FGWM. Once the order has been processed your details will be deleted.

Use of cookies analytical tools
On the websites of the FGWM so called cookies are not in use.

Emailing, orders and further contacts
When ordering information material, brochures or other products you will be asked for your name and further personal information. It is your free
choice to share these data with us. In case of an order your data will only be used to process this order. This includes the passing on of the
data to commissioned distribution companies. Incoming data will be saved on especially protected servers in Germany. Access to these servers is
only given to the few responsible persons in charge of the technical-administrative maintenance.
Further requests to the FGWM in paper form or electronic form will be saved in accordance to the periods required in the Registry Directive.
Your data will solely be used for direct correspondance with you.

Passing on of personal data to third parties
Data generated in course of a visit on FGWM's websites will be passed on to third parties solely when the FGWM is obliged to do so based on a
legal commitment or a court decision or if this is necessary for prosecution and law enforcement in case of attacks on the infrastructure
of the internet.  In case of an order of information material, brochures or products your data will solely be used within the FGWM and the company commissioned to
process this order.  Furthermore, a passing on to third parties for commercial and non-commercial ends will not take place without your explicit permission.

Protection of minors
Persons under the age of 18 should not transfer any personal data to the BSI without approval of their parents or a legal guardian. We do not ask
for any personal data of children and adolescents. Knowingly, we do not gather these data and do not pass them on to third parties.

Links to websites of other providers
Our websites contain links to websites of other providers. We do not have any influence on these providers regarding their compliance to the
data protection regulations.
