About SIG KM
The Special Interest Group on Knowledge Management is
part of the German Society for Computer Science (GI).
SIG KM addresses computer science methods for capturing, development, utilization,
and maintenance of knowledge for organizations and networks of people.
The focus is on scientific foundations and practical applications.
The current SIG KM was newly aligned in
2001 through a merge of the former SIGs on Knowledge Management and
Case-Based Reasoning. SIG KM is currently part of GI's departments on Artificial
Intelligence and Business
Informatics. A more detailed
description of SIG KM (in German language) is available.
